Waiver + Release of Liability
In consideration of my participation in the yoga or wellness class, workshop, presentation, or event (“Event” or series of “Events”) organized and operated by Unfold Yoga + Wellness, LLC, (“Unfold”), I agree as follows:
Assumption of Risk.I recognize and acknowledge that there is a certain degree of risk of physical injury that may occur because of my participation in the events offered by Unfold. I understand the demands of the Event relative to my physical condition and skill level and I appreciate the types of injuries that may occur because of my participation. I represent that I possess the minimum level of physical health, strength, fitness, and flexibility necessary to participate in the event and I hereby knowingly and voluntarily assume all inherent risks.
Waiver of Liability.I agree to waive, release, discharge, and relinquish all claims against Unfold, its employees, agents, members, and representatives (collectively the “Protected Parties”) that I may have as a result of participating in the Event with respect to any and all injury, disability, death, loss or damage to person or property, whether arising from the negligence of the Protected Parties or otherwise, to the fullest extent of the law. This agreement will be binding upon me, my successors, representatives, heirs, executors, assigns, and transferees.
Indemnification. I agree to indemnify, hold harmless, and defend the Protected Parties from all claims resulting from injuries, including death, damages, and losses sustained by me or arising out of, connected with, or in any way associated with the Event and the Protected Parties.
Severability.If any term, clause, or provision in this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the validity or enforceability of the rest of the agreement or of any other term, clause, or provision contained herein will not be affected.
Governing Law.This agreement, including all matters of construction, validity, and performance, will be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
I have read and understood the foregoing assumption of risk and release of liability and I understand that by participating in the Event I am waiving legal rights and that I am obligated to indemnify the Protected Parties for any liability for injury or death and damage to property caused by my negligent or intentional act or omission.
